Bellingham Brain Cancer Walk

Hannah Dashiell photo

The Bellingham Brain Cancer Walk is the inspiration of the late Hannah Dashiell, whose grandfather Jerry Jerowski, died of brain cancer in 2007. Hannah did not get to see her dream to completion. In early January 2014, a tragic car accident took Hannah’s life. Her fellow classmates, family friends, and members of the community have taken it upon themselves to see Hannah’s dream brought to completion. The 2020 walk is a tribute to Hannah’s life and an honor to her family. Part of Hannah’s vision for the Bellingham Walk was that it would become an annual event for the city of Bellingham. It is our hope, too, that this walk would continue to be a tribute to Hannah and her family, a service to the community of Bellingham, and an event to support a Cure in our Lifetime.
