Dr. Simon Hanft

Simon Hanft, MD is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the care of brain tumors and tumors involving the spinal cord. He is the Section Chief of Neurosurgical Oncology for the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.

At KAYTO 2024, Dr. Hanft will provide education on GammaTile's Surgically Targeted Radiation Therapy (STaRT). GammaTile is a radiation treatment specifically designed for use inside the brain and gives patients new hope in the fight against brain tumors. Know All Your Treatment Options (KAYTO) is a free patient disease education event, produced and moderated annually by the End Brain Cancer Initiative (EBCI). It is designed specifically for members of the brain tumor, brain cancer, and metastasized brain tumor community, including Health Care Providers. Hear directly from and have direct access to specialists in this field about treatment options, clinical trials, devices, and diagnostics that you may not have heard about.
