Caregivers, Friends, & Family! In honor of you AMAZING caregivers out there, who tirelessly devote your time to care for another, we want to be sure you are taking care of YOU as well.
Caretaking is hard work. Often the duties involved prevent us from fully being able to take care of ourselves in the process. Hear from others who completely understand you and share your story.

2026 KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Jennifer Nosker
Clinical Neuropsychologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School
“When Cognition Changes: Practical Tools and Strategies for Supporting Your Loved One”
In her presentation, Dr. Nosker will provide education to caregivers about the different types of cognitive changes that can occur in brain tumor patients, while simultaneously giving practical tools to help navigate these challenges. By teaching caregivers how cognition can be impacted and tools to navigate these challenges (i.e., memory compensatory strategies, etc.), it can help to normalize such difficulties, while also supporting daily functioning and quality of life.
Dr. Nosker is a clinical neuropsychologist and scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. She runs two clinics at the Center for Brain Mind Medicine, with her primary focus on patients diagnosed with primary and secondary brain tumors. Her work entails comprehensive neurocognitive assessment (memory, attention/executive functioning, language, visuospatial abilities) to identify areas of weakness and strength for rehabilitation purposes. She works as part of a multidisciplinary team with providers and physicians at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute to provide assessment and treatment of neuropsychology patients.
To address persistent gaps in survivorship care, she developed and implemented a virtual, group-based Goal Management Training (GMT) program tailored specifically for adult brain tumor survivors experiencing executive dysfunction and other cognitive weaknesses. The inaugural 9-week cohort of patients was in September 2025, and the program is now being offered multiple times annually, expanding access to structured cognitive rehabilitation services for survivors who otherwise have limited options for evidence-based cognitive interventions and longitudinal neuro-oncology survivorship care.
Her research focuses on leveraging digital cognitive assessment platforms to expand access to neuropsychological evaluation and to improve measurement precision in neuro-oncology. In conjunction with Dr. Lakshmi Nayak, they are studying the validity of digital, self-administered, cognitive assessment platforms and whether they are sensitive to detecting cognitive changes in patients diagnosed with low grade glioma or primary nervous system lymphoma.
