Dr. Nader Sanai

Dr. Sanai is an internationally recognized brain tumor surgeon and the Chief Scientific Officer/Director of the Ivy Brain Tumor Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute. His specialty clinical practice is devoted entirely to patients with benign and malignant brain tumors, particularly those in high-risk areas.

SPEAKER

Dr. Ondrej Choutka

Dr. Ondrej Choutka is a Complex Cranial Neurosurgeon at the Saint Alphonsus Neuroscience Institute. He is devoted to helping his patients. “My reward in neurosurgery is being on the journey with my patient, getting to know them as a person and watching them walk out the door happy and better."

Dr. Ondrej Choutka described a surgically targeted radiation therapy for brain cancer. Specifically, he discussed GammaTile, which is a collagen sponge containing radioactive cesium that is implanted in the brain during cancer surgery.
