On Saturday, January 18th 2014, Tamara DePorter, Chris Elliott Fund’s Vice President competed as Mrs. Seattle, as part of the Mrs. Washington America pageant. Her platform is brain cancer and brain tumor patient education and advocacy for advanced treatment for patients, something we appreciate so very much and are proud to have her as our representative at the event. It is wonderful to have such an advocate and representative like Tamara, continuing to spread awareness for brain cancer patients.
Tamara is a seasoned pageant expert. She has been involved in the Mrs. Washington America pageant for the past 6 years. She represented the brain cancer patient advocacy platform as well as the statewide cause, the Hope Heart Institute.
Mrs. Congeniality
This year she shined bringing in the Mrs. Congeniality award, an prestigious award voted on solely by the pageant participants, one who demonstrates the pageant spirit and is a favorite among the entrants.
3rd Runner Up
Tamara also made it into the Top 10 and placed 3rd Runner Up! Way to go Tamara, great work! Mrs. Washington Pageants are always a fun night and we are excited to have you represent our cause. The winner at this year’s pageant was Mrs. Tumwater. While Tamara has been involved in pageants for the past 6 years, we wish her luck if she decides to compete for another year and thank her for all the hard work for years previous. Tamara (see her bio here) is also the Global Website Manager for Colliers International.
Congratulations & Thank You Tamara!
